I have tried downloading and running several anti-malware programs, including Spybot SD and Malware Bytes, but neither recognize a problem. I have experienced a few signs that lead me to believe that this is a not a false positive: my computer occasionally restarts on its own, and I once got a blue screen (I did not think to write down exactly what it said but it mentioned a dll file I believe)
A few days ago Avast!'s On-Access Scanner began telling me that I have files infected with "Win32:Trojan-gen." No matter which option I choose from the Avast warning (move, delete, repair, move to chest), the warnings keep occurring, often in spurts.
